We suffer alone: English poem by Kate Jutt

We suffer alone
On lonely nights
When darkness invades our hearts and locks
We suffer alone
When the rain won’t stop
Both day and night
When our soul goes astray
And our mind runs wild
We suffer alone
When sitting in an empty hall
And feeling our silent soul
When our heart melts away
And we wander solely in barren deserts
And pray for peaceful solace
We suffer alone
I suffer alone
In the heart of darkness
When walking on the ground
Sleeping on wet grass
And storms sweep us away
We suffer alone
When we need someone to hold us
And they drown in a deep sleep
We suffer alone
When love doesn’t soothe us
And wisdom fades our feelings
When our skin crawls for passion
And our eyes weep for heartache
When our heart bleeds for our mind
And our mind hurts our feelings
When our body refuses to sleep for us
We suffer alone
When all we have is our heart
We suffer alone
There is more to this world
There is more for this heart
Follow the ancient myth
Stop crying for this route
It is the only hell
Look for the days of peace
When heaven will surround you
And kill all your fears
Wait for the lucky days
When you will find yourself
But are you even sure
That you are looking for yourself
Once Kant told me this
“You are all you have to seek”
Then Nietzsche explained it to me
“Your intuition is the truth”
This is what you want to follow along
On the roads of noology
You will suffer, heal, and grow
Then one day, our friend Socrates will come to take us
We will be up there happy
Singing, preaching, and dancing along with Shams
Yes, Shams the sun, the heavenly path of light
For this will be jannah
Or the land of peace and light
Your suffering in this world
Will bring us peace of life
Life which is awaiting us
And all those like us
Stop looking for undying mysteries
It’s all in your heart
Just close the eyes of your heart
And see through the night of right
