Here is a Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s extremely early poem ‘Ek Rahguzar Par’, which despite being his very early poem manifests his command over weaving the most beautiful patterns of words into a verse. No other poet comes close to Faiz in Romanticism, and this poem unsurprisingly remains the most graceful expression of beauty of beloved. Unlike other post, I did not dare to do an English translation, as it simply does not do justice to what is described here.
