Silent Epiphany: English poem by Hamda Rafaaqat

Silent Epiphany: English poem by Hamda Rafaaqat

A fragile thread, our bond, so light
Yet in its delicate weave, whispers of might.
Like gentle rain, my love pours true,
With a heart pure, I offer all to you.
Moments pondered, love’s truth I seek,
Was it but a lie, a mirage bleak?
Alone in solitude, the answers speak
Yet in my heart, I yearn for what I seek.
Time’s relentless March, a harsh decree,
Reveal my place, replaceable, it seems to be.
In the depths of my soul, an ache resides,
For the love I gave, where it once presides.
Priority and importance, in tears it hides,
Yearning for recognition, where love abides.
With each breath I take, a fragment slips away
Dying not for you, but for what I gave astray.
Chains broken,
Dreams Soar,
Past fades,
Future’s door.
