Saif ul Malook: English poem by Iqra Jamal

Saif ul Malook: English poem by Iqra Jamal

Inside the mountainous Kaghan Valley;
Laden with radiant white – pink alley.

The spectrum of colors like rainbow mélanges;
Enveloped in grand Himalayan ranges.

Fairy meadows dancing in the landscape;
Flowery waterfall tapping melodious rap.

Lush green lands and mesmerizing glaciers;
Sky-high mountains beautifying mighty rivers.

Sufi saint recounted an amorous story;
Persian prince adored this enchanting glory.

He dreamt the fairy in a glamorous look;
That’s why it was named Saif Ul Malook.
