Reunion under cherry trees: English poem by Rafia Kamran

A melody to meadows,
Where we sang in snow
Cherry Trees envy my beloved,
Oh, how delicate your skin is.
I will knit you a muffler,
Warmth of which will never leave you.
We’ll sing again my honeycomb,
In the meadows, on the snow.
Passerines will hum at sunset
Fall of fireball will remind us of departure.
We’re apart at the moment but not for long.
Cherries will blossom again,
We’ll meet again.
