A poem dedicated to SMELC [Safdar Mir English Literary Circle, Government College University Lahore]

When they work together,
They bring the joy to hearts
Procrastination gives them a stare
A stare that says, “oh, what made you to care?”

“Sense of responsibility made us vigilant”, they say
Birds sing melodies; sorrows sway away
Melancholy departs the station,
Leaving fortune behind the mansion

Literature binds us together
It brings the choral to the hearts
