Times: English poem by Rafia Kamran
My cardiac muscles wrench when,
I miss Us.
My nerves constrict when,
I look at your pictures, the pictures I captured.
You were once in front of me,
Tall, Handsome and Vigilant
You smiled at my innocence;
And winked at me.
Now I stare at the sky alone,
The sky which was once seen by US.
Time magnified, my soul protests.
My honeycomb,
Why are you still unaware of the cries?
Don’t you Miss, missing US?
