Missive from Death: Poem by Meerni

Missive from Death: Poem by Meerni

On my deathbed, For a while
with the death knell, on a side
with trembling hands and deadly plight
A wholesome life waiting outside
A fear, a cry and a troubling lie
I figured, that I’ve someone’s vibe

Out of hope, I reignited the light
reinvigorate a murky life,
reincarnated the Gods & rejuvenated vibes!
Vaguely i could see, See him alone
fluttering his wings, like a clone!
A call from death for relinquishing life.

A Crumbling sigh! with last sight!
with last thoughts! I Smiled!
