Can’t you feel them?
They are stabbing my heart
Can’t you peruse them?
They are making my soul depart
Can’t you see the bleeding ears?
Eyes bursting into tears?
And feelings turning into fears?
All depicting awful bygone years
With a dead heart I proclaim:
Love! you aren’t my murderer, but
Your words, your words, your words.
